حددت لجنة المسابقات باتحاد الكرة الإنجليزي، مواعيد بعض مباريات الدور الرابع من كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي لموسم 2022-23.
وما زال فريق ليفربول لم يتأهل بعد لهذا الدور، حيث سيخوض مباراة إعادة ضد ولفرهامبتون في الدور الثالث، بعد التعادل في المباراة الأولى 2-2.

وتم تحديد موعد هذه المباراة، في 29 يناير، في الثالثة والنصف مساء بتوقيت القاهرة.
وسيواجه آرسنال فريق مانشستر سيتي، 27 يناير، في العاشرة مساء بتوقيت القاهرة.
وكذلك مانشستر يونايتد ضد ريدينج، في 28 يناير، في العاشرة مساء بتوقيت القاهرة.

Abhimanyu Mithun will not be available for the first West Indies-India Test that begins on June 20 in Jamaica, due to visa issues. He is expected to arrive in the Caribbean only on June 20. Mithun and Praveen Kumar – who is already in Jamaica, since he was a part of the limited-overs squad – were drafted into the Test squad as replacements for the injured Zaheer Khan and Sreesanth.Adding to India’s issues on the fast-bowling front, medium-pacer Munaf Patel, who missed the last two ODIs against West Indies, did not bowl during a training session on Friday, leading to speculation over his fitness and availability for the Test. Though Munaf did bowl during Saturday’s training session, his stint lasted for about 10 deliveries.There were more anxious moments for India when opener M Vijay got hit on his left hand on by a delivery from left-arm fast bowler Sheldon Cotterell, who plays for Jamaica. Vijay was treated by the physio and later went for an x-ray.India captain MS Dhoni said the team would take a call over the availability of Munaf and Vijay on Sunday. “We will see,” he said, “we have two more days. So we will take a call. Munaf has problem with his elbow and Vijay has gone for x-ray as his fore finger got injured. We will know result maybe in evening or sometime tomorrow.”The first preference [to open the batting] goes to Vijay and Abhinav Mukund. If something happens Parthiv Patel is there to open the innings.”Friday’s training session at Sabina Park was also a first for Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, MS Dhoni, Pragyan Ojha, M Vijay and Mukund, who have joined the Test squad. All the players, especially batsmen like Jacques Kallis, rate him very high.”As the Indians practiced in the late afternoon, the groundstaff were watering and rolling the pitch. The surface looked shiny and gleamed. There was some grass on it. Charles Josephs, the curator, said there will be pace and bounce.Dravid said the pitch at Sabina Park always had some bounce and it would be a good Test match. “It’s generally got good bounce from my experience, apart from the first Test I played here,” he said. “And it’s going to be a good challenge. They have a good pace attack. And whatever said and done, on wickets that are going to suit them, their attack is going be quite a handful.”It’s going to be a good test for all of us, not only the younger members of the team. And hopefully we also have the bowling to knock them over. So, if they prepare a wicket that is good for fast bowling, we have got some quick guys who can make a difference.”

Contra o Fluminense, Moisés voltou a ser relacionado, porém não saiu do banco
– Fui muito cobrado pela torcida, mas nunca deixei de me dedicar no dia a dia. Infelizmente, as oportunidades vieram com a lesão do Moisés, mas estava preparado. Estou conseguindo manter uma sequência boa, sempre buscando evoluir. Encaro a cobrança como uma motivação. India Women are eager to prove themselves in foreign conditions, the captain, Jhulan Goswami, said on the eve of the team’s departure to play an ODI and Twenty20 quadrangular series in England. India, who will play the hosts, Australia and New Zealand, are particularly strong on the bowling front, she said.”We have always been good in home conditions. We beat England – who are currently the world’s best team – and West Indies here. Abroad our performances have been up and down,” Goswami said in Bangalore. “We have to change the mindset that we cannot perform there. We can’t just be passengers on these tours, have to show something of what we can do.”It’s still early summer there, once we go there we need to have a look at the conditions and decide on a playing combination. We have a few spinning allrounders, which is good for the team combination. Bowling is our strongest area among all three departments.”Amita Sharma, the vice-captain, said English conditions were not as different to India’s as made out. “Now pitches all over the world are the same. High-scoring surfaces, where teams get 300-plus scores,” she said. “People talk a lot about the ball seaming around in England and the like, but mainly there is just a little more bounce there than we get here.”Senior batsman Mithali Raj agreed. “On my last visit to England, I noticed that they are trying to prepare batting-friendly wickets for ODIs and Twenty20s – not much moisture, a little placid, except of course if the weather is wet.”These series, Raj said, will be a yardstick to measure India against the best in women’s cricket. “The tournaments, which are against the three best teams in the world, will show us where we stand and what needs to be done, especially in terms of the 2013 World Cup.”Keeping in mind the strong opposition, India’s preparation has focussed as much on fitness and fielding as skills. “We’ve worked a lot on our fielding, our fitness has improved immensely, we’ve been doing a lot of athletic and agility work, and it should show in the upcoming series,” Raj said.On the skills worked on, senior fast bowler Snehal Pradhan said, “We have been planning our lengths and working on the kind of movement we could generate there [in England].”With four frontline spinners and three frontline fast bowlers, the squad is unusually balanced for a tour of England, even if the wickets are, as the players say, more placid now. Coach Anju Jain dismissed questions on the side’s combination. “You’ll have to ask the BCCI about selection matters, we make the most with what we have,” she said.Both Goswami and Raj stressed the need to play more international cricket. “We need to play at least three international tournaments a year. Playing international and domestic cricket is totally different, there is a big gap between the two,” Goswami said. “So more international cricket is necessary for youngsters to gain exposure.”Raj said the team needed to play more Twenty20 cricket to improve in the format. “We don’t play too many international Twenty20 games, we just go directly into the Twenty20 World Cup,” she said. “England and Australia play a lot between themselves, and if you notice they tend to get to 150-160 regularly. We average around 140. We are getting the hang of the format, but don’t come up with big totals consistently enough.”The Twenty20 tournament begins on June 23, with India taking on Australia at Billericay. The ODI series is from June 30.
أعرب الهولندي، إريك تين هاج، المدير الفني لفريق كرة القدم الأول بنادي مانشستر يونايتد، عن سعادته بالفوز الذي حققه على مانشستر سيتي في الديربي بعد ظهر اليوم.
المباراة التي جمعت بين الفريقين على ملعب أولد ترافورد بالجولة الـ20، شهدت فوزًا مثيرًا لـ مانشستر يونايتد بهدفين مقابل هدف، ليقترب فريق تين هاج من مانشستر سيتي، بفارق نقطة واحدة فقط في المركز الثالث.
وقال تين هاج في تصريحاته بعد المباراة لشبكة “BTSport” البريطانية: “في الشوط الأول كنا جيدين للغاية، دافعنا بشكل جيد وخلقنا العديد من الفرص على مرمى مانشستر سيتي، وكنا سعداء بالأداء الذي قدمناه”.
وأضاف: “كان علينا أن نقحم أنتوني مكان مارسيال، لأنه كان يعاني بدنيًا، بعدها بدأ مانشستر سيتي يدخل المباراة، ولم نكن سباقين وهم من سجلوا الهدف الاول”.

عن راشفورد رغم إصابته في الشوط الأول: “في كرة القدم عليك أن تعاني، وتضحي للحصول على النتيجة الصحيحة، وهذا ما حدث مع راشفورد”.
واختتم: “أهم شيء الآن هو أن إيماننا عاد ونحن الآن في الاتجاه الصحيح، لقد رأينا اليوم كم نحن جيدين حتى أثناء استحواذ الخصم، سجلوا من خطأ واحد فقط”.

Além de ter jogado em equipes de destaque, Juan também atuou pelo Avaí no ano passado. Apesar de ser lateral-esquerdo, o jogador atuou no meio-campo e se destacou. Pela equipe catarinense, jogou 22 partidas e fez apenas um gol.
Nesta temporada, Juan jogará pela primeira vez.Ele passa a ser o jogador mais experiente do elenco. Antes, Edinho, com 35 anos, era o veterano do grupo.
