Sohail Tanvir, the left-arm fast bowler, has said he and other Pakistan players will go to South Africa to discuss their IPL suspension with tournament chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi.The Pakistan Cricket Board had earlier banned its players from participating in the IPL after the country’s relations with India deteriorated after the terror attacks in Mumbai in November. When the tournament was moved out of India – over security reasons – the Pakistan players were hopeful of returning but IPL officials said it wouldn’t be possible as the squads had already been finalised earlier.”A number of issues need to be discussed and we’ll be accompanied by a representative of the company we’ve engaged to handle our case,” Tanvir, the highest wicket-taker in the 2008 IPL season,told the Kolkata-based . “I strongly feel the IPL should’ve reviewed our status, especially after our government issued the NOCs once the tournament moved out of India.”Six Pakistani players had their contracts terminated by their franchises before the IPL auction in February. Many Everton fans have been left buzzing over some news that has emerged involving their Bramley-Moore Dock stadium project.

As per the official website of the Goodison Park faithful, Dan Meis, who is the concept architect for the new stadium, will now continue his association with the project as he takes up a new guardianship role.

Meis’ initial role in the project came to a natural end in the summer of 2020 as the scheme moved from the concept to technical phases.

Working under the Merseyside club’s Stadium Development Director Colin Chong and alongside the project leads from Laing O’Rourke and BDP Pattern, his new role will involve reviewing the technical construction specifications and engaging the compliance team ahead of each stage of development, so that the original design concept remains in place when the stadium is being built.

Fábio Carille sempre valoriza o que aprendeu no Corinthians entre 2009 e 2016, quando ainda era auxiliar. Porém, desde que foi efetivado no comando da equipe no fim do ano passado, o técnico passou a ser professor durante alguns treinos no CT Joaquim Grava.

Em sete meses, Carille já recebeu visitas de Alex Alves e Renê Marques, e atualmente outros três ex-jogadores fazem uma espécie de estágio no Timão: Maldonado, Alfinete e Guilherme Alves.

O ex-volante chileno, que atuou pelo Timão em 2013, está há algumas semanas acompanhando treinos no CT Joaquim Grava. Já o ex-lateral-direito, que defendeu o Corinthians em 1982 e 1983, apareceu no gramado na última terça. Alfinete ficará uma semana aprendendo com Carille. Nesta quarta, o ex-atacante também esteve no gramado para observas o treino. Guilherme comandou o Linense durante o Paulistão deste ano.

Nos outros dois casos, a troca de experiência foi mais pontual. Alex Alves é amigo de Carille desde 2001, quando atuaram juntos no Juventus (SP). Ele iniciou carreira como técnico na base da Portuguesa, passou pelo Nacional e aproveitou para pegar dicas com o comandante do Timão em abril.

Renê Marques também é amigo de Carille. Eles trabalharam juntos no Grêmio Barueri e trocam informações atualmente sobre a vida de treinador. O ex-goleiro visitou o CT corintiano em julho e acertou na semana passada com o Marcílio Dias (SC).

Antes aprendiz, Carille já conquistou o Paulistão e lidera o Brasileirão em seu primeiro ano como técnico efetivado. Não é à toa que ele tem sido professor nos últimos meses.

Questionado sobre a situação do camisa 7, Marcos Rocha comentou que os companheiros tentam blindar o atacante das críticas. Já Rafael Carioca frisou a necessidade de passar confiança ao jogador.
