ليفربول يرغب في ضم مدافع جديد، من أجل تعزيز صفوفه الدفاعية، في ظل إصابة الثلاثي، فيرجيل فان دايك، جو جوميز، إلى جانب جويل ماتيب، حيث يتواجد كامارا على رادار الريدز.

وقال كامارا في تصريحات نقلتها شبكة “ليفربول إيكو” البريطانية: “في الوقت الحالي، أنا أود إنهاء الموسم، هُناك خمس مُباريات مُتبقية”.

وأتم تصريحاته ردًا على “ما الذي يمكن أن يقنعني بالبقاء؟”، قائلًا: “إنه بالأحرى المشروع رياضي، لقد كنت محترفًا لمدة أربع سنوات، لقد اختبرت القليل من كل شيء هنا، المشروع الرياضي سيجعلني أتخذ قراري”.

كامارا يُعد من الركائز الأساسية داخل مارسيليا، وهذا الموسم، خاض 38 مباراة بمُختلف المُسابقات، وصنع هدفين.

Speaking to Football Insider, Danny Mills has suggested that Manuel Pellegrini should stick with Roberto as West Ham United’s goalkeeper.

What did he say?

Roberto struggled once again on Saturday, as West Ham United lost 3-2 against Newcastle United, with his worst moment coming for the Magpies’ second goal.

This can be added to a growing list of moments that have seen the Spaniard fail to cover himself in glory since the 4-0 loss against Oxford United.

However, when speaking to Football Insider, Danny Mills suggested that Manuel Pellegrini should stick by Roberto: “Sometimes, if you drop the goalkeeper because of one bad game, sometimes there needs to be [patience]. You can damage confidence very, very quickly and he might not come back from that.

“Sometimes you just need to bite your tongue and through gritted teeth go: ‘He’s had a bad game, it’s not happening, work hard in training.’ Sometimes when things aren’t going your way you need a goalkeeper with experience. It happens, it happens to the best of them.”

This could be detrimental

It was expected that the 33-year-old would not be able to reach the level of Lukasz Fabianski, who is out injured for the rest of the year, but his performances have still left many underwhelmed and concerned.

But Mills is absolutely right to suggest that this could impact the confidence of Roberto, as this has been the Spaniard’s big opportunity to show that he can help the Hammers, so switching him out would mean he had ultimately failed.

While Roberto has not been overly impressive in Fabianski’s absence, there’s no doubt it could be damaging if he was dropped from the first team.

It will be interesting to see how Pellegrini approaches an emerging dilemma in the coming weeks.

Everton have struggled immensely this season and found themselves in an early relegation scrap as a result of some horrendous displays.

After their win over Southampton, the Toffees now have a bit of breathing space above the drop zone but Marco Silva and his men are far from pressure free.

Certain players have really struggled to pull their weight, as the club sit just six points clear of the drop having conceded 18 goals in 12 games. One of the players who has been under the spotlight is captain Seamus Coleman, who has registered just one assist all season long.

The signing of Djibril Sidibe from Monaco this summer has put more pressure on the Irishman, and the loanee’s performance against the Saints hinted that he is a strong candidate to resume the role of first-choice right-back.

The Frenchman was consistently a threat going forward and looked solid at the back for the Merseysiders.

The likes of Moussa Djenepo and Cedric Soares found little action down their left-hand side, as Sidibe completed an impressive seven tackles and blocked one shot.

The 27-year-old also made one interception and one clearance. However, it was going forward where he really impressed and may well have sold his credentials to Silva.

Sidibe made 23 accurate passes for Everton, which equalled to an 88% completion rate – the highest amongst any Everton player on the pitch. Within this impressive attacking display, the France international delivered a sweet cross to Richarlison, who tapped home the winner for the away side.

The fact Coleman is the club’s captain certainly adds a crucial layer to Silva’s team selection.

However, Sidibe has proved over these past few games he should be Everton’s main right-back regardless of the captaincy situation.

His 7.35 rating against West Ham United and now this performance away from home suggest he is more of an attacking threat than the 31-year-old.

Plus, with a crucial fixture against Norwich City up next, Silva cannot afford more dropped points and must continue to trust Sidibe at right-back.

وقالت شرطة مانشستر في تصريحات حسب صحيفة “إندبندنت” الإنجليزية: “تم طرد أولئك الموجودين في الملعب من قبل الضباط، لكن الاعتداءات خارج الملعب تطورت مع إلقاء الزجاجات والحواجز على الضباط والخيول”.

وأضافت: “تعرض اثنان من الضباط للإصابة، حيث تعرض أحدهما لهجوم بزجاجة وأصيب بجرح كبير في وجهه، مما تطلب علاجًا طارئًا في المستشفى”.

كما وصف مساعد قائد الشرطة روس جاكسون الاحتجاجات بالطائشة والخطيرة، حيث أدانها بقوة.

Real Madrid are getting back into some La Liga action this weekend after their more than just successful triumph over Galatasaray on Wednesday. But seeing how they will still face a tricky opponent, their midfield star, Casemiro, might have a crucial role to play come Saturday afternoon.

Casemiro’s importance has been second to none this season and he’s now an irreplaceable part of the squad.

The 27-year-old destroyer was always a big part of Real Madrid’s family but this campaign has seen him rise up the ranks immensely. And now, after 15 games played across all competitions, the Brazilian is Zinedine Zidane’s most-used player in the squad with 1290 minutes under his belt already.

That means that he has played the full 90 minutes in 13 games and 60 minutes in the remaining two of the 2019/20 season.

By all standards, quite an incredible achievement that further solidifies his importance.

But his defensive skills and prowess might be put to the test on Saturday when he comes face to face with Eibar’s most dangerous player, Fabian Orellana.

A key battle

Seeing how they are facing a team struggling to stay afloat in La Liga, it would be easy for Real Madrid to face them on auto-pilot.

But Eibar, and especially Orellana, are quite dangerous when given a chance.

Just the fact that the 33-year-old veteran has already scored four goals and assisted further four in the process as well tells enough of what he can do if not taken seriously.

But not only that but he has also tallied two shots, 1.9 key passes and 2.2 dribbles per game in the 2019/20 La Liga campaign so far. By all standards, quite impressive figures for someone who plays for a side currently in 14th place in the table.

Luckily for Real Madrid, however, Casemiro is more than capable of completely shutting down his opposition.

So far, he’s averaged 3.7 tackles, 2.5 interceptions and has been dribbled past two times per game.

These figures match up against Orellana’s quite nicely but it still doesn’t mean he will have an easy job to do on Saturday.

When everything is said and done, however, the 27-year-old Brazilian is the man you want to count on when push comes to shove.

Let’s see if he can continue the trend moving forward.
