كشفت رابطة الأندية المصرية المحترفة عن تعديل جديد يخص بطولة كأس الرابطة، وذلك خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد اليوم في العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة، حيث أعلنت عن تغيير اسم البطولة إلى مسمى جديد سيتم اعتماده رسميًا بداية من النسخة الحالية.
وتُقام البطولة هذا الموسم للمرة الرابعة على التوالي، حيث شهدت تتويج فيوتشر بلقب النسخة الأولى، بينما حقق سيراميكا كليوباترا اللقب في النسختين الماضيتين.
وتظل البطولة محتفظة بنظامها المعتمد سابقًا، بمشاركة 18 فريقًا من الدوري المصري الممتاز، مع تغيير في نظام التأهل للمباراة النهاية. طالع التفاصيل
وأعلنت رابطة الأندية خلال المؤتمر عن تغيير اسم كأس الرابطة ليصبح “كأس عاصمة مصر”، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز الهوية الوطنية للبطولة وإضفاء طابع جديد عليها، يعكس المكانة التاريخية والرياضية للعاصمة المصرية.

وتُعد بطولة “كأس عاصمة مصر” إحدى البطولات المؤهلة لكأس السوبر المصري بنظامه الجديد، حيث يشارك في البطولة أربعة فرق:

وبدأت مباريات الجولة الأولى من البطولة يوم 10 ديسمبر الماضي، حيث تسعى الفرق المشاركة إلى تحقيق اللقب، خاصة الأندية التي لم تحظ بفرصة المنافسة على بطولتي الدوري والكأس، ويُنتظر أن تشهد النسخة الجديدة منافسة قوية، خاصة مع رغبة الفرق في تحقيق اللقب الأول بمسماه الجديد.

وأكمل: “بيسيرو يعرف الأجواء، وهذا لن يتطلب وقتًا طويلًا للاندماج في الفريق، فهو على دراية بالنظام، ولا يحتاج إلى فترة للتأقلم، أرى أن المدرسة البرتغالية ناجحة، حيث تجمع بين الشخصية القوية والقدرة على التواصل، دون أن يكون المدرب صارمًا لدرجة تنفّر اللاعبين، وهذا يدفعهم لبذل أقصى جهد من أجله”.
واختتم: “لا أعرف ما إذا كان بيسيرو سيحاسب على مباراة اليوم أم لا، فالأمر يعود إلى الإدارة، لكن في الأساس، التعاقد مع مدرب لا يكون فقط من أجل مواجهة الأهلي، بل لكل المباريات، لأن من الوارد أن يفوز المدرب على الأهلي ثم يخسر باقي المباريات، وهو أمر غير مطلوب”.

The forward may not be the only one missing from Newcastle’s next game. Howe confirmed that Newcastle will need to assess Kieran Trippier after the right-back was forced off against Manchester City. Whilst the Magpies are hopeful given that he was forced off through cramp, they are yet to be 100% sure and now face a nervous wait.
Performing more accurate passes than any of his teammates despite going off injured, Trippier proved his value in the game against Manchester City, during which he also made one last-man challenge and won all bar one of his aerial duels (as per Sofascore), and will now be looking to kick on if he manages to avoid an ill-timed injury blow.

Given how they’ve struggled for defensive depth in the past, keeping hold of Trippier should prove to be a vital decision for Newcastle. The experienced right-back may not be in his prime these days, but he is still capable of stepping in for the big moments as proved against Manchester City in a game that saw the Magpies hold on and secure a well-earned point.

Vídeos que circulam nas redes sociais – gravados pela jornalista Bianca Molina -, mostram ao menos dois torcedores diferentes do Furacão na Arena da Baixada fazendo gestos em alusão a macacos e apontando para o tom da pele (assista ao vídeo acima).
As ofensas eram voltadas tanto para o setor onde estava a torcida do Atlético-MG como até mesmo contra outros torcedores do Furacão, como foi o caso de uma torcedora que estava no camarote da Arena em outro registro que circula nas redes sociais.

Dois torcedores aparecem em mais de um vídeo em meio ao setor da torcida organizada do clube, “Os Fanáticos”, fazendo gestos imitando um macaco e apontando para o braço, fazendo alusão à cor da pele, em situação que se repetiu ao longo, especialmente, do segundo tempo da partida. Nesse caso, a ofensa era direcionada ao torcedor visitante e não há relato de “réplica” por parte do torcedor visitante.
Já na situação envolvendo a torcedora que estava na área do camarote, inclusive com a camisa do Athletico, os mesmos gestos racistas foram feitos para a própria torcida, algo que gerou gritos de “racista” e a ameaça de um torcedor que ainda tentou pular a separação de vidro entre os setores.
Até o momento, não há informações se prisões ou detenções foram feitas após a partida na Arena da Baixada. O Athletico ainda não se manifestou oficialmente sobre o caso.

Zimbabwe’s Brendan Taylor has decided to call time on his 17-year career at the highest level. The 34-year-old former captain and one of the most recognisable cricketers from his country will play his final match on Monday, the third ODI against Ireland in Belfast.Taylor made his debut for Zimbabwe in 2004 in an ODI against Sri Lanka in Bulawayo, and has since risen to become one of the mainstays of the side. He did his best work in ODI cricket, scoring 6677 runs from 204 matches, which leaves him tantalisingly close to becoming Zimbabwe’s highest run-getter in the format. He already stands leagues ahead of any Zimbabwean with 11 ODI hundreds. He walks away with 2320 runs from 34 Test matches and 934 runs from 45 T20Is.Taylor made the announcement on Instagram on Sunday.”It’s with a heavy heart that I’m announcing that tomorrow is my last game for my beloved country,” he wrote. “17 year’s of extreme highs and extreme lows and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”It’s taught me to humble, to always remind myself how lucky I was to be in the position I was in for so long. All told, he was in charge for 16 matches, of which they won three, and emerged as a much-needed leader at a time of uncertainty in the country’s game.Taylor was Zimbabwe’s leading run-scorer at the 2015 World Cup, but left the national set-up when he signed a Kolpak deal with Nottinghamshire. However, Zimbabwe lie 12th out of 13th teams on the World Cup Super League points table and are likely to have to go through another qualifying tournament.They will have to do so without Taylor, Kyle Jarvis and Sean Williams, all of whom have announced their retirements in the last three months. Jarvis has moved on to business interests, while Williams is believed to have several concerns with the running of the game in Zimbabwe. As things stand at the moment, Zimbabwe’s fixture list for the next year is scant. They are due to host Afghanistan, Ireland and Bangladesh over the next year but no official fixtures have been announced.
Everton have travelled through peaks and valleys over the course of their Premier League journey, but it’s clear that work needs to be done to escape from the current sloping morass.
Sean Dyche was brought in to restore some defensive security at Goodison Park and indeed succeeded in his efforts, steadying the ship and staving off the threat of relegation, but the Toffees relapsed at the start of the current campaign and, with The Friedkin Group completing a club takeover from Farhad Moshiri, some changes are going to be made.
Everton definitely need some more firepower up front, and what Dyche would give to have Richarlison, at the top of his game, to choose from.
Richarlison's Premier League career
Everton snapped Richarlison up for some £40m back in July 2018 after the Brazilian’s fine debut campaign in English football with Watford, who had brought the young forward over from his homeland.
He posted 53 goals and 13 assists over 152 outings for Everton, proving to be a reliable presence in front of goal and leading journalist Joe Strange to praise his “relentless” running and aggressiveness.

When Tottenham Hotspur came calling in 2022, the versatile forward jumped ship. Everton were stung by the loss of their talisman but for a fee totalling £60m, it was something of a no-brainer for Moshiri, who bit the Lilywhites’ hand off.
Especially since, as you can see from his season-by-season statistics in the Premier League, he’s since fallen by the wayside.

Richarlison’s first year in the capital left absolutely everything to be desired, with his sole top-flight goal of the campaign coming against Liverpool in a dramatic 4-3 defeat at Anfield.
The Brazil international improved upon his woeful first term last year, enjoying a brilliant purple patch throughout the winter months that saw him plunder ten Premier League goals from just nine outings. Despite this, talkSPORT host Ally McCoist described him as a “very frustrating” forward to watch, for he never quite hits the heights that are within his ability.
According to Football Transfers’ player valuation model, Richarlison is now only worth £26m, which is probably about right given his injury problems throughout most of 2024. This is a significant drop from the sum that Spurs coughed up for his services, representing a £34m depreciation.
Richarlison played in both of Tottenham’s opening league matches of the season under Ange Postecoglou but has since been sidelined with an injury and only featured in the later stage of the matches anyway; compounding his struggles down N17, Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson are both playing well, meaning he might struggle to get back into the starting 11.
There is no doubt that Everton would relish Richarlison’s qualities in their side right now, but equally, the money recouped from his sale was too good to turn down – and his travails since point toward nothing other than an excellent piece of business.

As conversas entre a diretoria corintiana e o estafe do goleiro já estavam bastante avançadas desde o fim da temporada. Além dele, outros dois defensores experientes que possuem contrato até o fim deste ano estão próximos de renovarem com o Corinthians por mais duas temporadas:são eles o lateral-direito Fagner e o zagueiro Gil.
Cássio tem 34 anos, está no Timão desde 2012 e em 2022 chegará à sua 11ª temporada com a camisa corintiana. Com 563 jogos, ele é o atleta do atual elenco com mais partidas pelo clube do Parque São Jorge, sexto da história do clube e segundo considerando apenas os goleiros.
Caso o camisa 12 faça nesta temporada o mesmo número de jogos que fez no ano passado, 58, ultrapassará Biro-Biro, Zé Maria, Ronaldo Giovanelli e Luizinho, se tornando o segundo jogador com mais partidas pelo Corinthians, e primeiro entre os arqueiros.
Com a renovação do contrato, Cássio também terá a possibilidade de se tornar o atleta com mais títulos pelo Timão. Atualmente, o atleta tem nove conquistas (Paulistas de 2013, 2017, 2018 e 2019; Brasileiros de 2015 e 2017; Libertadores de 2012; Recopa Sul-Americana de 2013; e Mundial de 2012), uma a menos que Marcelinho Carioca, jogador com mais títulos pelo clube do Parque São Jorge, 10.
Após uma temporada em que foi questionado por algumas falhas, Cássio buscará reafirmação em 2022, por isso teve uma férias treinando com um preparador pessoal enquanto estava na cidade catarinense de Balneário Camburiú.
